Overview

The Benro Reddog R2 features a unique, patented one-handed rotating handle that can be used as a standard vertical gimbal or in an innovative low-angle mode, giving you ultra-low-angle shots without straining your wrists. There's a mode button that lets you choose between the two modes: vertical mode, suitable for high- to medium-angle shots, or the aforementioned carry mode. The innovative design is built with precise CNC machining and anodized surfaces for incredible quality. It's extremely flexible: the Reddog R2 has full follow, full lock, vertical follow, and horizontal follow modes, and when folded for backpack storage or in tight environments, expect ultra-stable shots, with incredibly fast response times (6ms) for smooth tracking. The R2 is compatible with DSLR cameras up to 3.8kg, including the Canon EOS, Panasonic GH4/GH5/GH5S, and Sony A7/A9 and RX black card series (6000, 6300, 6500). It also works with all types of smartphones, mirrorless and action cameras, featuring a standalone QR plate design that allows for quick and easy device swapping in just one minute. A 3200mAh battery means you can enjoy super-steady shots for up to 12 hours, guaranteed to capture the footage you want all day long. Updating the device's firmware is simple with the touch of a button. A companion smartphone app allows for easy collection, remote operation, or stunning time-lapses with dynamic motion.
