Overview
This is a kit that includes a Nanlite FC-500C RGBW Color LED Spotlight, an AC power adapter, an FC PowerController that lets you use the light on battery power, and a padded case that holds it all.
The FC-500C provides a significant amount of light output in 36,000 vivid colors and a wide CCT range of 2700K-7500K. The included power supply lets you run on a standard AC outlet, and the FC PowerController lets you run on V-Mount batteries (sold separately). FC-500C has easy-to-use onboard controls, Bluetooth for the free NANLINK app for iOS and Android, 2.4G for more wireless control options, and a locking, metal DMX/RDM port for advanced control.
The FC PowerController features two plates for 14.4-14.8V or 26V V-Mount batteries. It has 2 knobs, 2 buttons, and a 2-inch screen for controlling the connected FC-Series light (it's also compatible with the FC-300B and FC-500B). You can mount the light high up on a stand and use the manual controls on the FC PowerController closer to you on the ground. When connected to a standard AC outlet, the FC PowerController will charge attached 14.4-14.8V and 26V V-Mount batteries. It can be hung on a light stand with a built-in strap, and it also has a mounting plate on the back for attaching to stands with the separately available ASCPQRFZ Super Clamp.
For output, FC-500C provides 57050 lux (5300 fc) at 1-meter with the included reflector. You can quickly fine-tune the dimming from 0 to 100% in 0.1% increments, and the high SSI ratings of 84 (3200K) and 71 (5600K), and CRI of 95 and TLCI of 94 ensure your colors will always be accurate. It has green-to-magenta adjustment of +/- 150 to blend with other light sources. A wide range of light modifiers are compatible with its standard Bowens Mount, and an integrated umbrella holder provides more light-shaping options. The FC-500C is powerful, colorful, versatile, accurate, easy to use, and always ready to travel in the included padded case.
