    Overview

PROMAM67 enables the use of Mamiya RB67 and RZ67 lenses on the BALPRO-series universal bellows: BALPRO-1, BALPRO-T/S und CASTBAL-PRO. Due to the large flange length of both systems (RB= 111mm, RZ= 108mm), it is now possible to focus shorter focal lengths e.g. RZ-Sekors 4.5/50 mm and 4.0/65 mm all the way up to infinity when using a mirrorless camera. The 4.0/65 mm lens is moreover equipped with floating elements to increase image performance. We are thinking here mainly of the use of these lenses in photo studios and in combination with the CASTBAL-PRO bellows attachment and the CASTEL-MICRO stepping motor-driven focusing rail as a highquality Focus-stacking solution in product photography. The longer focal lengths (180, 210 and 250 mm) of both systems can be used as well. And due to their design, without having to stack several extension tubes or bellows. A simple BALPRO-bellows is all that is needed! PROMAM67 is supplied with an aperture clamp to ensure that the connected lenses can be fully stopped down. The clamp is hooked to the Depth-of-Field preview lever and fixed to the cable release socket. Please note: The leaf shutter of the lenses must be cocked manually! Mamiya RB67 and RZ67 cameras and lenses belonged to the top products in the field of analog photography and were used by studio- and portrait-photographers alike. Still today, these lenses are widely available on the used market.
