  • The NEX/EOS adapter allows you to mount an EF mount lens with built-in aperture control on a Sony E-Mount camera. Compatible with both full-frame and APS-C Sony E mount mirrorless cameras.
  • The use of EF-Mount lenses with a mechanical aperture ring (Canon EF Cine lenses, Zeiss Compact Prime, Samyang, etc.) is recommended. With original Canon EF lenses aperture control isn't possible.
  • Exposure metering can be Aperture Priority or Manually. No information is transferred between the lens and camera, so focus is manual.
  • EF-series lenses without a manual aperture rings are not compatible. Autofocus is not available
  • German engineered and manufactured

Overview

The EF-Mount Lens to Sony E-Mount Body Lens Mount Adapter from NOVOFLEX allows a manual EF-Mount lens to be mounted to a Sony E-Mount mirrorless camera. Although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm (AE metering), or any other functions are not retained using this adapter. In this case you will need to meter in "stop-down mode" since the lens does not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body.
