Overview
The NOVOFLEX ASTAT-MFT Lens Collar is a tripod mount and support made specifically for NOVOFLEX MFT, NIK1, PENTQ and FUX lens mount adapters. The collar clamps around the NOVOFLEX adapter and takes the weight of the lens and adapter off the camera when mounting to a tripod.
The lens collar features both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounts as well as a mounting plate compatible with most ARCA-Swiss style quick release mechanisms. The collar features a textured knob for tightening the ring around the lens adapter. To execute quick changes between horizontal and vertical orientation, just loosen the knob and rotate the lens adapter & camera body – the adapter is able to turn a full 360° within the collar.
