The Saramonic SmartMic5 is a unidirectional micro-shotgun microphone with a 3.5mm TRS output that captures crystal clear, directional, broadcast-quality sound. Designed for DSLR, Mirrorless and Video Cameras, Recorders, Mixers, Wireless Transmitters and more. It’s an easy way to add a compact yet high-quality directional microphone and drastically improve the sound over those device’s included microphone. An ideal micro-shotgun mic for vlogging, social media posts, YouTube videos and for any content creator on the move. It features plug-and-play operation, allowing you to just plug it in to your camera or device and start recording. It includes both a foam and a furry windscreen, making it easy to get great sound indoors or outdoors.

Focused Sound and Extra Reach in a Micro Form-Factor
The SmartMic5 features a 2.36 x 0.43” (6 x 1.1cm) interference tube and a unidirectional polar-pattern. Designed to focus on the sound in front of the microphone, while attenuating sounds from the sides and rear. Because of its longer interference tube, it also allows you to move farther away from the microphone and still get a detailed and full-frequency sound.
