It is designed to protect the microphone from wind noise and vocal plosives while protecting from moisture in dirt while in use. It also features a fitted rubber gasket to keep the windscreen secure during use. Perfectly paired with the Saramonic SR-MC5 replacement mic clip and SR-MM2 replacement metal mesh windscreen, for a fool-proof lavalier back-up kit.
