Overview

The CineBuff 3mm Kit is a complete lavalier mounting solution designed for industry-standard 3mm lavalier microphones. Built for professional film, broadcast, theater, and live productions, this kit gives sound mixers and wardrobe teams a reliable way to mount lavaliers securely and discreetly on clothing or directly on skin.

The kit includes two rubber lavalier concealers that hold a 3mm mic in a shock-absorbing enclosure, helping reduce vibration, clothing rustle, and friction noise for cleaner, more consistent audio. A wire clothing clip allows for fast, secure placement on garments, while the integrated fabric guard helps keep material away from the capsule for improved performance.

For versatile placement, the included concealer tape enables quick adhesive mounting of the concealers on clothing or directly on talent’s skin. The tape is sweat-resistant and hypoallergenic, helping ensure all-day comfort while keeping the microphone firmly in place.

Two fishbone-style cable organizers are also included to dampen vibrations and minimize unwanted cable noise from the cable rubbing against clothing. Preventing cable tangling and reducing strain and wear on the lavalier connector for added protection and durability.
