The Saramonic SmartRig Di is a compact audio interface that enables you to connect a professional microphone, guitar or instrument to any Apple iPhone or iPad with Lightning. There’s an incredible number of amazing music-making apps that turn your device into a pocket-sized recording studio, and the SmartRig Di lets you use them to their full potential. You can also plug in a professional shotgun mic, wireless lavalier or any mic to vastly improve the sound quality of the videos you shoot. Content creators, journalists and podcasters can use the SmartRig Di to make excellent sounding recordings anywhere they happen to be.
A built-in high-quality mic preamp gives you all the power you need to get great sound, and you can dial in the perfect level with its nicely sized gain knob. Condenser mics can be supplied with +48 volts of phantom power, which makes it possible to use almost any kind of mic. A 3.5mm headphone output on the SmartRig Di lets you hear your music apps in real-time, and to listen to the playback of your videos (app dependent).
